About this place
The sliding bridge over the port canal is a true engineering curiosity in Darłówek. It connects the eastern and western banks of the district and is retracted several times a day to allow yachts, cutters, and cruise ships to pass through.
The moment the bridge opens is a small attraction in itself—tourists gather to watch the span give way to vessels entering and leaving the port. The bridge lies right next to the lighthouse and the fishing port, making it easy to combine these attractions into one walk.
