The Darłówek Lighthouse is one of the most recognizable symbols of Darłowo. The red, 22-meter-high tower stands in Darłówek East, at the very entrance to the harbor, above the mouth of the Wieprza River on the Baltic Sea. Its history dates back to 1715, and its current form dates back to the reconstruction in 1927.
In the summer (usually June–September), the lighthouse is open to visitors. You can climb the tower and admire the panoramic view of the harbor, beach, and the entire seaside district from the viewing gallery. It is one of the best vantage points in the area, especially at sunset.
